Datalogger DL2000 เป็นอุปกรณ์ทำหน้าที่บันทึกข้อมูลค่าวัดทั้งค่า Analog และ Digital โดยข้อมูลนี้จะถูกเก็บอย่างต่อเนื่องไว้ในหน่วยความจำภายในเครื่อง
การอ่านข้อมูลจาก DL2000 ใช้ PC ต่อกับโมดูล ทาง RS-232 Port หรือ ผ่าน Modem โดยมี Software ช่วยในการอ่านข้อมูลเข้า PC ข้อมูลที่ได้จะนำมาแสดงผลบน PC ในแบบตัวเลขหรือนำมา Plot Trend Graph ได้ ข้อมูลนี้สามารถนำไปใช้ใน Program บน Window อื่น ๆ เช่น MS Excel, MS Word ซึ่งช่วยให้สะดวกในการนำข้อมูลไปทำการคำนวณเพิ่มเติมหรือจัดทำรายงานได้อีกด้วย
